Domestic Short Hair Cat

Diamond the Cat needs a home

Hi.....meow, meow, meow....my name.......meow, meow, meow.....is Diamond.....meow, meow, meow. I do believe that I am the most talkative kitty in the history of Fat Cat Rescue. In truth my meow sounds more like mraaa, but I've been told that it makes me unique and interesting.
I used to live in a big house with a lady who really loved me and I even had a human brother. I was so happy with my Furrever Family, and lived with them for a long time. One day my whole life changed........my mom was gone........they said she died. They said she would never come home again.
My human brother was sad and angry all the time after she died. I was a burden to him.......perhaps I reminded him of our mom. He decided that I could no longer live in our house..........the only home I had ever known. He said I had to live outside.
"I'm sorry you lost your mother human brother, but I lost my mother too."
The lady that lived in the house next to us told my human brother that I was too old to live outside, but he wouldn't listen. He just really didn't care. This neighbor called Fat Cat Rescue and asked if they could help me not live outside anymore. They did......they came and helped me.
I went to go live at someplace that they call the rescue. The people there were nice enough, but they weren't her..........they weren't my mom.
Time went on and eventually the sadness was not so great. I liked to sit on the tallest cat tree in the rescue and tell my story to everyone that passed by. I came to realize that these Fat Cat Rescue people were not so bad after all. In fact, I kinda liked them. I happily told each and every one of them my whole life story. Mraa, mraa...... mraa, mraa.............
I don't live at the rescue anymore. I live in a foster home now. They said I have something called arthritis, and that the cold hurts my bones. I think they might be right. I am hoping that one day someone would like to adopt me and give me my very own Furrever Home again. They say that it is hard to find these Furrever Homes for kitties who are as old as I am. I don't know about that, I think these Fat Cat Rescue people just might pull it off. I have faith. Until then, I am just going to hang out in my foster home and tell my foster family my life's story every day.
